Facebook Page update

Some may remember the post I did awhile ago on custom facebook pages and how it is possible to bend it to your will, to a certain degree that is.

This is a quick reminder that if you have gotten you facebook page built buy us or if you have done it yourself (clever aren't you) facebook is changing the way facebook pages work. Some of you may have already been given the opportunity to try out the new facebook page but if you haven't soon you won't have a choice.

The problem lies with the width of the canvas area or main content area. It's become even thinner then before and your preset widths will now need to change.

Upgrading our server

Over the next few days we will be migrating all of our hosting customers websites to our brand new server. We believe that there will be no downtime and the process should go through un notice.

Just thought we would let you know incase there are some minor hiccups.

The reason for migrating your websites to a new server is simple. Since we have been taking a more active role in our clients website marketing online our collective traffic has been increasing. We decided it was best to upgrade to a bigger better newer server before we start to see any performance issues.

Noble Mineral Resources Site Update

We were contacted by Noble Mineral Resources to work with their graphic designer to build a brand new website. With out having anything to do with the design or layout we set out to make sure that the site not only functioned properly but also was built to the highest of standards making sure is would provide a solid framework to work on search engine optimisation. The website was also fitted out with a content management system allowing the Noble staff to update their site when they need to.

Custom Facebook Pages

It's been awhile. You probably haven't heard too much from us over the past few months. However that doesn't mean we haven't been very busy. We have completed some new sites for clients which we will show you over the next few days.

Today however is all about facebook. More importantly it's all about facebook pages and building custom pages. Have a look.

As you can see we have created a custom landing page that has four tabs to which we can feature all sorts of content and multimedia. So far we have noticed that there is a larger amount of people liking our page and  with more multimedia content we have planned will help spread the word. Maybe this is something you should think about for your facebook profile.

 

Niche development

In between working on newsletters, new websites, old websites (old websites are those that are already online) and our online marketing efforts. We have started work on a niche product.

First up I can tell you that the product is aimed at photographers. It's something that we thought would have been covered but our recent work in that field has provided us with a unique opportunity to put our talent to good use and help out. 

It's too early to provide any screenshots or any real details of what we are doing. I can tell you that we hope to have something ready by the end of this year or early next year at the latest. We have gotten of the flying start so it's just a matter of pushing on and getting the product ready to roll out.

Unfortunately that is all I can tell you at this stage.

It's been awhile

In short the reason has been, we have just been flat out. I know it's not really an excuse but thats all I have at the moment. Any way what have we been up to.

We had another Hans Jud Hairdressing shoot a few weeks ago. Which we turned the images not only into web advertising but also into print.

We have a ton of other news to get out to you but that will be for another post.

September Roundup

September has been a busy month but not in the way you might think. You probably have noticed how we haven't had that many new videos or photo shoots this month. The reason for this is that we don't want to saturate our clients markets, although constant new fresh content is great you need to find a balance. Throughout September we have tracked continual and steady growth for all of our clients where a lot of that traffic is still being generated by what we did in August.

Planning something big

We've been a bit quite of late and there is a really good reason for it. 

First up we have been working hard on our little experiment which is actually already starting to provide us with some positive results, which is a lot sooner then we anticipated. Again we are not about to let you know what it is however the more web savvy of you out there would have already worked it out. 

What we have managed to do is launch a facebook page for Hans Jud Hairdressing http://www.facebook.com/pages/Perth-Australia/Hans-Jud-Hairdressing/147467731956872 which we are slowly starting to use for them as a marketing tool. This will coincide with a rather large photoshoot we are doing in October and an event in November. 

So while it may seem that we have been quite we have actually been hard at work planning and creating content.
